By accessing or using the services provided by Lend A Helping Hand Healthcare Advocates ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Description of Services

Lend A Helping Hand provides healthcare advocacy and care coordination services for families navigating elder care. Our services include care planning, crisis support, provider coordination, and educational resources. We act as advocates and coordinators—we do not provide medical treatment, legal advice, or financial planning services.

Nature of Services

Please understand that:

  • Our services are advocacy and coordination in nature, not medical care

  • We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe medical interventions

  • We are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice

  • Final decisions regarding care remain with you and your family

Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your situation

  • Respond to communications in a timely manner

  • Make payments as agreed upon in your service agreement

  • Notify us promptly of any changes in your loved one's condition or care needs

Payment Terms

Payment terms are outlined in your individual service agreement. Fees are due as specified and are generally non-refundable once services have commenced, unless otherwise stated in your agreement. We accept various payment methods and can discuss payment arrangements on a case-by-case basis.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • The right to access and receive a copy of your personal data

  • The right to correct inaccurate personal data

  • The right to request deletion of your personal data

  • The right to opt out of marketing communications

Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties without your consent, except as required by law or as necessary to provide our services (such as communicating with healthcare providers on your behalf with your authorization).

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lend A Helping Hand shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship with written notice as specified in your service agreement. Upon termination, you remain responsible for any fees incurred up to the termination date. We will provide reasonable transition support to ensure continuity of care for your loved one.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Lend A Helping Hand is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
